Sisters for Christ will resume this Monday, September 10th at 6:00pm here at the church in the fellowship hall.  There will be a potluck dinner, so bring a dish or two to share.  Childcare is provided. 

 

 

The Texas County Baptist Association Annual Meeting will be Monday, September 10th at 6:30pm at Roby Baptist Church.  Refreshments will be served at 6pm.

 

 

Financial Peace classes will begin Tuesday, September 11th at 6:30pm here at the church.  Materials are $100 per family.  We have some kits available on a first come, first served basis. The PrayerZone challenge for the 2018-19 school year will be on Sunday, September 9th at 6pm at the Houston High School gym.  Our evening services for that evening have been transferred to the high school gym.

We will be having a Brunch & Baby Shower for Kim Choate on Saturday, September 8th at 10am here at the church.  She is having a boy.  Newborn clothes are not needed, but anything is appreciated.

Our Mission Action Quilting ladies meet every Tuesday 1:30-3pm here at the church.  These quilts go to a variety of needs in our community including families whose homes have burned down, teens transitioning out of foster care, residents of the nursing home, and families served by the food pantry.  Please, consider joining this ministry.
